This series includes transcripts of audio recordings of oral history interviews conducted by or collected by the LBJ Library with individuals of interest to researchers at the LBJ Library, such as friends and associates of President and Mrs. Johnson; members of the Johnson administration; staff members; Johnson's colleagues in the House and Senate; individuals whose lives were directly affected by the Johnson administration; military leaders who served in Vietnam; and President and Mrs. Johnson themselves. The interviews cover the pre-Presidential, Presidential, and post-Presidential periods of the Johnsons' lives. Interviewees were given the opportunity to review and edit the draft transcripts before they were finalized. In some cases, only the final, approved transcript versions are available for research. Some transcripts may not have any related audio recordings.
